Classes – PVOC

**** Next Obedience Class Starts Wednesday, August 6th ****

Classes start Wednesday, Aug. 6th, 2025 and will be held at Petrack Park,

OUTDOORS on Field E, in front of the Pool Building.

Registration will be held before the 1st class on Aug. 6th at 5:30PM.

Basic Obedience 1 Class: 6:00 – 7:00PM.

Bring your dog’s vaccine/shot records and the completed Class Registration paperwork (link below)

to Registration and Orientation.

Classes on 8/13, 8/20 and 8/27 will be held indoors at Bob Ruud Center at 6:00PM.

Classes on 9/3, 9/10, 9/17 and 9/24 will be held outdoors at 6:00PM.

Cost is $75 per 8-week session; payment is due at registration. Cash or Check Only – no Credit cards.

Dogs must be at least 4 months old and up to date on vaccines; bring your dog’s proof of vaccines to registration.

******Rally Training is Available******

Rally is a fun way to engage with your dog beyond basic obedience.

It provides additional skills and exercises you can use just for play or for future competition.

Novice/Intermediate: Introduction to Rally. All on leash. Dogs must have completed a beginning

obedience course or equivalent. Dogs should walk on a loose leash and know basic sit,

stand, down commands. Handlers focus on learning signs and rules.

Advanced/Excellent/Master: Off leash signs and skills. Continuation of Novice class for dogs who

are ready to work off leash, utilizing additional signs and jumps.
